In June 2001, Surgeon General David Satcher unveiled skill-based strategies which he said represented an energy to find "customary ground" winning which the homeland could promote sexual wellbeing and responsible sexual deeds.

Strategies geared near increasing awareness include recognition that parents are the toddler's principal educators and should point a child's sexuality learning in a way that is consistent with their ideals and beliefs.
